The Challau College was designed keeping in mind an international university set up, complete with state-of-the-art classrooms and multiple collaborative spaces giving each user access to a world-class virtual learning environment from the comfort of their own home. Whether you want to attend a virtual yet realistic lecture with your classmates, discuss a project together in the library or simply hold a study group with friends - the College environment is perfect for you.

Every user in the College environment also gets access to the multipurpose whiteboard just like in other Challau environments so that they can enjoy a smart online learning experience that is collaborative and interactive - you can actually attend your usual college lecture or even take a class test without feeling like you’re talking to screens :)

Just like the Virtual Home and Office, the Challau college has unique design touches that deliver immersion and realism - making you actually feel like you’re attending a college in real life. For example, there are two vending machines full of drinks and snacks, a water cooler dispenser, and a paddle bin in the hallway. Another school-specific feature is personal lockers/pigeonholes which line the two main hallways. In the library, the book covers are exclusively designed to make it feel like a real book collection. If you look close enough, you will notice that the names of Challau team members (past and present) are mentioned as authors in the books line up ;)

The choice of the surrounding setting for the Challau College was designed to give a sense of joy, freedom, beauty and expansiveness given how tough and demanding online education/training is. We chose a beautiful Swiss village with a lake view and snow covered mountains as a backdrop to help transport users to a place they would love to go to.
